Millennium Blades, the newest kid that everyone want to hang out with, is finally here. My first impression? This game is heavy. I kid you not, I estimate that it weighs between 3 to 4kg.

Boasting of over 500 cards, Millennium Blades is a simulation of players trading and buying “Millennium Blades” cards to improve your deck, increasing your chances to win the national tournament.

The game contains multiple packs (shown above) for players to choose from to build their own unique decks. The fun part, just like in real life, we always want the rare cards, the exclusive cards and all the legendary cards.

In Millennium Blades, it is exactly the same. Want something from that particular promo pack? No problem. Simply trade 9 cards in and see what you get. Not the card you wanted? Sell it away then and use the money to buy a rare pack.

I admit, I grew up a fan of Magic the Gathering and boy, does this game simulate my teenage years perfectly. Instead of spending years on a particular hobby, this game takes you and your gaming group about 2 hours to simulate the whole experience.
